Admissions to all programs at HIESS are given on merit basis, which is determined on the basis of academic qualification, entrance tests and interviews.
Admissions in different programs are offered in Spring (January / February) and Fall (July / August) semesters through advertisements at least 30 days before the commencement of each semester.
The attendance requirement is 75%. Relaxation, if any, shall be given in accordance with the rules and regulations of the University.
The assessment is based on assignments, presentations, mid-term test and a final examination.
Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is minimum 2.5, on 4 CGPA scale, calculated for all semesters.
Students shall not be promoted to the next semester unless they pass 75% of the courses, i.e. any student who has failed in more than one subject shall not be promoted to the next semester without clearing the subjects in General Special Examination. Below 60% marks in a subject shall be considered “Fail”.
