Hamdard University is pleased to announce the launch of the Postgraduate Diploma in Quality Assurance in Higher Education by the Center of Excellence in Collaboration with Sindh Higher Education Commission HEC. This pioneering program is the first of its kind in Pakistan and aims to enhance the standards of higher education through comprehensive training and expert insights.

Hamdard University FMS students of Business Finance and Security Analysis and Investment had an insightful visit to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX)!

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) conducted an Investor Awareness Session for students of Hamdard University. This exercise was part of PSX’s Financial Literacy Initiative to disseminate information and spread awareness about financial planning, savings & investment, and functioning of the Stock Exchange. The students were informed about various functions & operations of the Stock Exchange along with the different asset classes of investment available in Pakistan. The importance of listing for capital raising and increasing the visibility & overall image of companies was also explained to the students. Furthermore, the students were guided on ways to navigate PSX’s website & how to access different types of information available on the PSX Data Portal.

The Center of Excellence at Hamdard University, in collaboration with IDM Pakistan, organized a workshop. CEO Mr. Shoaib Ahmed enlightened students on digital marketing trends and integrating AI for future careers. The session aimed to educate students on the synergy of digital marketing and AI for rewarding career prospects.

The Center of Excellence Hamdard University and the Center for Excellence in Journalism (CEJ) at IBA, organized a one-day *Media Literacy and Fact-Checking Workshop* for students. The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ skills in navigating the digital world, with a focus on media literacy, fact checking, and addressing, information disorder.

Students were introduced to key topics such as misinformation, disinformation, and the social impact of negative online narratives. The interactive sessions provided practical tools for verifying information and promoting safe, responsible digital spaces.

The Center of Excellence at Hamdard University proudly hosted a financial literacy workshop in collaboration with Oraan, led by CEO Halima Iqbal. This engaging session aimed to empower students with essential financial knowledge and skills, ensuring they make informed decisions about their finances.

During the workshop, Halima Iqbal introduced Oraan’s innovative *Study Now, Pay Later* option, which enables students to break their tuition payments into manageable installments over 3 or 6 months. This initiative aims to alleviate financial stress and support students in pursuing their academic goals without the burden of upfront costs.

The session led by Ms. Halima fostered an interactive learning environment where students asked questions and gained valuable insights into personal finance management.

The Center of Excellence at Hamdard University recently hosted an enlightening program centered around Schuitema’s unique *Organizational Excellence Model*, led by esteemed trainer Mr. Shahbaz Aftab. This model is grounded in decades of primary research, distinguishing it from conventional business school theories.

Mr. Aftab introduced participants to the *Care & GrowthTM Leadership Model*, which has been successfully taught at Cambridge University and implemented across various sectors in 22 countries. The model empowers leaders to pursue organizational excellence through practical tools tailored for command situations, team dynamics, and personal mastery.
