Established in 1991, Hamdard Institute of Management Sciences (HIMS) is the first business
school in the private sector in Pakistan. It is an integral and very dynamic part of Hamdard
University.In addition to its presence at the Main Campus at Madinat al-Hikmah, HIMS also operates at the following two campuses of the University:

• Islamabad Campus at Chak Shahzad, Islamabad.
• Karachi City Campus on Kashmir Road, Karachi

Hamdard Institute of Management Sciences (HIMS) is one of the earlier faculties of Hamdard
University to start operation. It imparts business education at the undergraduate, graduate, and
postgraduate levels. Its flagship program is its BBA program run at its picturesque and purpose-
built Main University Campus and provides a unique blend of learning skills in line with the
changing realities of the corporate world.HIMS is alive to the changing realities of the corporate world and it is in this context that we invite eminent personalities through seminars, and guest speaker session, and arrange visits of our students to industries to gain firsthand knowledge of their operations.

We believe that our graduates benefit from our vast experience of over 27 years – more than
any other private business school in Pakistan. The teaching methodology at HIMS includes case
studies, experiential learning with an emphasis on hands-on, practical, transferable KSAOs to
corporate needs.Our graduates are serving in some of the most prestigious organizations in senior positions within and outside Pakistan.
